Clear delivery estimates and return deadlines, from order confirmation through refund. Business days are Sunday to Thursday, excluding Egyptian public holidays.
Orders are normally prepared within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery after confirmation is 2–5 business days in Cairo and Giza, 3–7 business days in major governorates, and 5–10 business days in remote areas. Large appliances, installation, or special-access deliveries may require an appointment and 1–3 additional business days.
02
Check on arrival
Inspect the item, packaging, accessories, and visible condition when it arrives. Report visible damage or missing parts within 48 hours so Khamato can act quickly. This faster reporting request does not reduce any statutory rights.
03
Return windows
You may request a change-of-mind return or exchange within 14 calendar days of receiving an eligible product, without extra return cost and subject to legal exceptions. A defective or non-conforming product may be returned or exchanged within 30 calendar days of receipt.
04
Resolution & refund timing
Khamato aims to acknowledge requests within 1 business day. For a defective product, the eligible replacement or refund is completed without extra cost within 7 calendar days of contacting Khamato, and a refund uses the original purchase method. Other eligible pickups are normally arranged within 2–7 business days and inspected within 2 business days. After Khamato sends a refund, the bank or provider may need 5–14 business days to post it.
Important details
Delivery dates are estimates and the confirmed appointment is shared by Khamato or its delivery partner. If an order is materially delayed before dispatch, the customer may accept a revised date, choose an available alternative, or cancel for a refund. Change-of-mind returns remain subject to the exceptions allowed by Egyptian law. Refunds are sent to the original payment method where possible; installment and buy-now-pay-later providers apply their own settlement schedules after Khamato submits the approved refund. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under Egyptian consumer-protection law.
